The SHOREA team is involved in supporting community engagement in initiating the management of High Conservation Value (HCV) areas located within and surrounding palm oil plantation concessions.
This activity is facilitated by Rainforest Alliance in collaboration with DSN Group, applying a collaborative approach between companies, local communities, and other stakeholders.
The mentoring process aims to enhance community understanding of the importance of protecting ecologically significant areas and promoting the collective management of these conservation areas.
